Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Head of Cricket Operations to oversee the day-to-day functioning of Mumbai Cricket Association's domestic cricket programs. You will be responsible for managing tournaments, coordinating with BCCI, and supporting the development of grassroots cricket across Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- •Oversee scheduling and management of all domestic cricket tournaments
- •Coordinate with BCCI on regulatory compliance and reporting
- •Manage relationships with state and district cricket associations
- •Lead a team of 8 operations executives
- •Develop and manage operational budgets (₹2Cr+ annually)
- •Coordinate logistics for home and away matches
- •Support talent identification and scouting programs
- •Liaise with sponsors and broadcast partners
- •Prepare match reports and post-event analysis
- •Represent MCA at national cricket governance forums
Requirements
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field
3+ years experience in cricket operations or sports administration
Strong understanding of BCCI regulations and governance
Proven experience managing large-scale cricket tournaments
Excellent communication in English and Hindi
Nice to Have
BCCI Level 1 or 2 administration certification
Experience with sports technology and data management tools
Prior experience at a state cricket association
Bilingual proficiency (English + Marathi)
